$2200.00 Australian with hard case, lifetime guarantee, leather strap, spare strings and Eucalypt Banjo certificate

Eucalypt Open Back banjos can be ordered with all sorts of variations such as:-

Full 22 fret fingerboard
Fretless fingerboard
Full scale length with frailing scoop above 17th fret
D'Aguilar Bell ring
Burdekin Plum wooden tone ring

SPECIFICATIONS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE.

Here's just a few Eucalypt open backs we've built for customers, we haven't included all of them but at lest it's an idea of what we make. Don't forget to visit our making and gallery pages for lots of pictures.

Once again, these are all thumbnails to save your download time :-

Here's a detail of a frailing scoop above the 17th fret. This is a popular feature with clawhammer players.
The inside of a Eucalypt open back rim. In keeping with modern trends we use twin coordinator rods rather than the dowel/stick arrangement for the attachment of the neck. It's much stronger and easier to adjust.
Here is an open back rim assembly with the  D'Aguilar Bell tone ring. We also offer a wooden tone ring using Burdekin Plum, a hard and resonant outback timber. This is becoming very popular delivering a gorgeous warm tone so loved by the traditional player. The banjo is a little lighter as well.
The inside of the above banjo a little later on. Here the Elite head has been fitted together with the 24 hooks. We paint the rim of the head black for no other reason than it just looks fantastic. Note the white bands set into the rim base.
Another view of the same thing but this time the other way up. At least you can see the Elite amber head a little easier.
A bit of a brag this one ... Bob Carlin's autograph on the inside of the banjo he played on his Australian tour.  Sorry about the fuzzy photo, my fault, should have read the instructions for my digital camera.
Dan Levenson visited us at our booth in Nashville 2005. Dan is a great exponent of the clawhammer banjo and old time, or old timey, music and teaches (his books and CD's are brilliant) and performs all over the US. Here he is having a go on a wooden tone ring Eucalypt Banjo. Hopefully Dan will tour Australia in the near future.
